Although I had to pay my ex-spouse a large sum of money from my 403b it was less than 50/50 statue of marital funds in TN the expected. Knowing it was 50/50 on marital funds. Since it was a large sum from the 403B, I was married short term- 5 years. It was always my goal to not pay anything else, alimony or money for the house which was mine well before the marriage.
